Jesus was no stranger to the temple. Jesus read the Word. I believe Jesus would have protested if any of the Hebrew documents they read from had been false. And I believe Jesus would have brought it to their attention if any part of it were missing.
Jesus did not protest this ...and therefore, what was satisfactory to Jesus ...suits me fine.
That covers the Old Testament. Now, for the New Testament ...those who followed Jesus were called disciples, and some were called apostles. The apostles continued to meet and interact with one another ...and they seemed to vouch for one another. And again, the importance of their testimony and the truth of God which they were giving account of ...seems vastly more important than what Ananias & Sapphira did. Yes, I believe Jesus made it very clear that the apostles were to represent Him ...and this also included the directing of a blind man to a chosen person's house, to validate that fact that this person was now chosen too.
